What You'll Do
As a Diesel Parts Coordinator, you'll help ensure our maintenance operation runs efficiently by managing inventory, sourcing parts, supporting technicians, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage inventory levels to ensure technicians have the parts they need to keep equipment moving
- Research, source, and purchase parts from approved suppliers and manufacturers
- Track inventory trends, identify high-demand items, and minimize obsolete stock
- Process warranty and return parts while coordinating with vendors and manufacturers
- Resolve shortages, pricing discrepancies, and supply issues
- Partner with shop leadership, technicians, and vendors to support maintenance operations
- Assist with purchasing, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Two years of parts experience, preferably in a heavy-duty truck or transportation environment
- Experience identifying, sourcing, and ordering truck or equipment parts
- Working knowledge of OEM parts systems and online ordering platforms
- Ability to read and interpret parts manuals and repair documentation
